Community Support - Sugarcraft in West Norfolk

Sugarcraft cakes Sugarcraft cakes

At the meeting on Wednesday 6th December at South Wootton Village Hall King’s Lynn Sugarcraft Club donated 47 handmade and decorated Christmas cakes to the Befrienders to give to their clients to let them know that someone is thinking of them at this special time of year when they will most likely be on their own. As a club, we have been making and donating cakes each Christmas to others less fortunate than ourselves and we particularly enjoy giving our cakes to the Befrienders as they such a marvellous job in supporting socially isolated people over the age of 65 in the West Norfolk area. If you would like to know more about the Sugarcraft club I would be happy to talk to you or we do have a Facebook page - King's Lynn Sugarcraft club if you would like to see what we get up to! We will be celebrating our 30 years as a club as we had our first meeting in February 1987.

West Norfolk Befriending is delighted to receive these beautiful cakes. They light up the faces of our clients from across West Norfolk. We are very grateful for the support the group gives us.
