West Norfolk Befriending is a registered charity and we offer our befriending services to our clients for free.
We have a small team and your money will directly impact the people we support.
We raise our own funds and rely on grants and donations to offer our service.
We match trained volunteer befrienders bringing conversation to people who struggle to leave their home through poor mobility or caring responsibilities. The clients we work with feel happier, less lonely and more connected with the world.

How you can help
- £10 funds one telephone befriending call
- £15 funds one face to face befriending visit
- £40 funds a client attending one of our social events
- £150 funds birthday cards for all our clients each year
- £300 funds telephone befriending support for an older person for a year.
- £500 funds a social event, bringing a group of clients and volunteers together.
- £600 funds face to face befriending support for an older person for a year.
